The first AIM-RADIAL Meeting devoted to transradial approach was recently held in Quebec City and was attended by 150 participants from 26 different countries. During these three days, this international forum discussed results recently published, reviewed some challenges to a wider use of the transradial approach around the world and broadcasted “live” procedures from Canada, USA, France and Japan.

In addition, the organizing committee selected 60 abstracts that were presented as posters. Thanks to a grant from the industry and the Faculty of Medicine at Laval University (QC, Canada), a special issue of the Journal of Invasive Cardiology was published for the occasion. Copies will also be distributed during upcoming TCT Meeting in Miami, FL. Visit: http://www.invasivecardiology.com/articles/abstracts-aim-radial-2012-1st-advanced-international-masterclass
Due to an excellent response to the call for transradial angiography and intervention papers, accepted manuscripts will be published in two separate issues of the American Heart Journal, the first of which is October 2012.
